I’m Allison
A passionate interior designer since the age of 12, when I could be found rearranging furniture and adjusting the lights in our house, I have an innate ability to see potential for functional, sophisticated design in any room. After years in real estate and property development, I realized my passion wasn’t helping people find their dream home, it was helping them to create a haven within their own home.
Kurrent Design Studio was born from a simple belief: thoughtful design has the power to transform not only spaces but also how people feel and live within them. With a deep love for both aesthetics and functionality, I set out to create environments that are as practical as they are beautiful—spaces that elevate everyday experiences.
My passion for design is fueled by my travels around the world, drawing inspiration from diverse places and cultures while always staying grounded in the island I have called home for the last 20+ years: Maui. I am committed as much to the aloha spirit as I am to creating spaces that inspire, support, and reflect the people who inhabit them.

A charismatic, yet grounded Taurus through and through, with multiple things on the go at any given time. I thrive when I can be in my own uninterrupted creative flow. Despite this, I’m a social butterfly that absolutely loves collaborating with others.
